Medicare Primary Payer -- Small Employer Exemption
The RCAB Health Plan covers many locations with less than 20 employees, considered by Medicare to be “small employers.”  For these locations, employees age 65 and older will have their health care costs covered first by Medicare and second by the RCAB Health Plan. The Benefits Office will contact employees and spouses who qualify for the Medicare small employer exception to explain the enrollment process.
