        About Us
Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Boston Benefit Trusts
The Archdiocese of Boston has sponsored group health and welfare plans for Catholic parishes, schools, and other Catholic entities in Eastern Massachusetts for more than 40 years. These benefit plans, which currently serve nearly 4,000 active employees and 2,500 retirees, are qualified “church plans” under federal and state law and are administered as charitable trusts. This arrangement allows small Catholic employers to provide employee benefits that comply with the teachings of the Church at rates typically only available to larger organizations.
The mission of the Benefit Trusts is to provide comprehensive employee benefits at competitive prices to the Catholic community in the Boston area. Our staff is committed to the highest level of service and accountability. To discuss any of our benefit plans, please contact the RCAB Benefits Administration Office at (617) 746-5640 or benefits@rcab.org.
